Death and resurrection.

I have been out of action for over a week. Last Thursday my faithful computer gave up the ghost. I was faced with a blank screen and when I took it to Dr. Computer Logick I was told that it had succumbed to a major stroke. It was past fixing.

So today I am looking at a shiny, brand new Apple iMac with all my data from the old desk top successfully down loaded and I am back in business.

That's a pretty good example of what is going to happen to believers when they die. Our old body gets recycled but not before the data of our soul is retrieved and transfused to the new model.
The Bible calls that our 'Glorified Body' and, if its anything like my new Mac, I can't wait to receive one.

As an after thought. I was considering the information that was downloaded from my old computer into the new. How much did it weigh? Absolutely ZERO. So it is with the human soul. At death, when it leaves the body, the corpse weighs exactly the same as it did a moment before. It just so happens that the memory has been transferred to its new body for all eternity. Now there is a comforting thought for all Christian believers.
Jubilate.
