CRUCIFY HIM.

                                 CRUCIFY HIM

This is pretty much how it was on Good Friday.

Pontius Pilate asked the crowd "Who shall I release to you?"
They all shouted "Give us Barabbas."

"Then what shall I do with Jesus?" asked Pilate.

They all shouted:   "Let Him be crucified!"

How would you have voted?

Happy Easter.

Easter. Out for the count.

                      OUT FOR THE COUNT

What has this photo of Cassius Clay and Sonny Liston got to do with Easter and the Cross of Calvary?.
A lot, if you believe what the Bible says about the defeat of the devil.
Paul, the apostle, says that in dying on the cross Jesus engaged the concerted powers of Hell, took our sins away and triumphed openly over the Lord of Darkness. (Colossians 2:14).
This bout for the heavy weight championship of the world between Liston and Clay wasn't a secret incident. It was the most anticipated and widely publicized event in sporting history.
Even so the death of Christ on the cross and His resurrection  three days later has been the most widely written story in all of history.
"IT IS FINISHED" were the closing words of Jesus on the cross.

Now He invites you and me into the ring to put our foot on the devil's chest and share in His victory!

Jubilate.

Easter at the Masters

                           HE IS RISEN

There are some iconic moments in life. Here is one for golf lovers:
It is a shot of Phil Mickleson winning the 2004 Masters on Easter Sunday.
When I saw the final moment captured for all time by digital camera I named the photo: "HE IS RISEN"

"HE IS RISEN INDEED"   If a picture is worth a thousand words,
then I'll confine myself to fifty and let the crowd do the talking.

Jubilate.
